Rainbow Edges

 

I needed a quick and easy card for my son to give a neighbor as a thank you card. I used the Technique Junkies Rainbow Edges technique in the Dec 12/ Jan 13 issue. I pretty much CASED Holly Brown's artwork from the issue since I loved the simple elegance. 

Stamps: Inkadinkadoo's Thankful for Everything; Ink: Memento's Bambo Leaves, Ranger's Faded Jeans, Shabby Shutter, Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw; paper: SU's Old Olive, Neevah's Classic Nateral White, Accessories: Spellbinder's Labels Four Small and Gold Labels Four, CB's Swiss Dots embossing folder. 

Butterfly Beauty

A quick post to share my Butterfly Beauty card I'm sending to someone special.  I received a couple of Spellbinder dies for Christmas and have been dying to try them out.  Here is the Butterfly Magic Expandable die as the background.  I also received Twisted Metal Tags and Accents which coordinates with Unity's Twisted Metal Tags & Accents stamp set and used both items here.  The word "beauty" is from Unity's Butterfly Beauty stamp set.  I used Stickles on the outlining dots around "beauty" to separate the Lavender Lace layers and Crystle Gemstones from Hero Arts for the corners.  A fairly easy card, but one that I hope is elegant in it's simplicity.
